Description
More clocks than you can count
The Clock Museum of Vienna or Uhrenmuseum, is a tribute to the heyday of clockmaking in Austria. Back in the day, the country produced some of the most impressive time pieces in the world and this museum is chock full of fascinating pieces of this history.
You'll find three floors of clocks from all time periods in the Clock Museum. These aren't just the big grandfather or wall clocks that we are familiar with, the over 1,200 exhibits show off everything from pocket-watches to wrist watches and lantern timepieces. It's quite the collection and each level is dedicated to a separate type of timepiece.
