Description

The latest addition to the Imperial Palace

Ephesos (Ephesus) Museum holds a collection of arms and armor, ancient musical instruments, artifacts and architectural fragments of Corinthian columns, tombs, and the library of Celsius. The most outstanding exhibit is a gigantic frieze of Lucius Verus’ victory over the Parthians in 165.

Greek and Roman artifacts, bronze and marble sculptures from antiquity are on display at the Ephesos (Ephesus) Museum, bringing to life the splendor of ancient Ephesus (Turkey). The 70 meter long Parthian Frieze depict military scenes of battles, hunt outings, and the art of riding. A visit to the museum is a journey through time. A time full of contrasts, the rise and fall of cultures.
