Photographic gallery

Fotogalerie Wien is a non-profit organization, created to promote artistic photography and new media. It sees itself as an information gallery, but also provides a rich exhibition schedule, and exchanges with photographic galleries from other cities.

Fotogalerie Wien was founded by Josef Wais in 1981. Currently, the gallery is led by a team of nine artists and theorists, who work together on curatorial projects, and to promote lesser known and emerging artists.
