Description
The largest suburb in the district of Döbling
Grinzing is part of Döbling, the 19th district of Vienna. Until 1892 this used to be an independent municipality. The name means literally "of the people who belong to a man named Grinzo."
Grinzing is famous for its Heurige (wine-taverns). In addition, here you'll find a few attractions of historic significance, like the parish church and the Kaasgrabenkirche, the Habsburgwarte and a monument to Karl Lueger.
