Description

Located in the Arsenal, a grand neo-Byzantine barracks and munitions depot, the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum is an incredible attraction. Spanning two floors, the museum takes visitors on a journey through history, beginning with the Thirty Years’ War (1618–48) and ending with WWII, showcasing the Austrian-Prussian War, the Napoleonic Wars, and the Turkish Wars. On the first floor, visitors can view the Great Seal of Mustafa Pasha, which was captured by Prince Eugene of Savoy in the Battle of Zenta in 1697.
