Situated between the Burgtheater and Heldenplatz, the Volksgarten is an ideal spot to relax and take in the stately rose bushes and classical statues. In the northeast corner of the park stands the monument of Empress Elisabeth, close to the Temple of Theseus (a copy of the one from Athens commissioned by Napoleon), and the Volksgarten ClubDiskothek.
